The last word about the move to the new house - We have finally gotten rid of all the 35 years accumulation of junk. The old house is all spruced up and (we hope ) ready for a quick sale.
One last word about the Olympics - I wonder why NBC thinks we are all fascinated with volleyball of all types with endless playoffs, and water polo ( who cares ) , all made horrid by the disgusting Bob Costos.
Politics - I can hardly believe what I am about to write. I think Obama will win a second term ! As expected , he will get 95% of the black vote. Now he seems to be reeling in the Latino vote as well. For unknown reasons he also gets a substantial percentage of the Jewish vote. Our liberal media and the labor unions are piling it on , overwhelming the best efforts of the Fox network and talk radio. The welfare and nanny state have all but taken over. It is hard for the conservatives to make a case for self reliance.
60 minuits have done it again - This bunch spent 30 minutes telling us that sugar is poisonous. Do you believe this ? I don't

Much as you seem to dislike Obama, from my end, he has been a good little republican soldier. Very little he has done can really be considered part of the liberal agenda.
I am not as convinced as you are. I think the money pouring into the Romney campaign has yet to really hit home. To lose after so much $$$ invested in his winning would give me a modicum of confidence that elections can't be outright bought.
I do believe sugar is bad for you - there is certainly a lot of controversy about diets and what is good for you or bad (eggs, chocolate) - almost everyone agrees that sugar is the culprit for many western diseases along with our high carbohydrate diet.
